My, Oh My BCCM!

Here’s an update from Peer Minister Ali Sapa

My, oh my! This year is off to a crazy start! So many activities, so many meetings, so many things have been done, and more is yet to come! Just this last weekend BCCM had of first official retreat *wahoo!* We had a strong group of ten college students attend the retreat, both from RMC and MSUB. The retreat went from Friday evening to Sunday morning, full of games, discussions, personal growth, and memoires. Also we had a very, very special guest Saturday evening, Bishop Warfel of the Great Falls – Billings area dropped by and had a great question/answer time with us. Later that evening we all attended evening mass at St. Pius. Overall, it was a great weekend. We all walked away with new friends, great memories, new lessons, and a closer connection with God.

But wait! BCCM is not done! This coming weekend our BCCM group (RMC-MSUB) will be helping out at the homeless shelter downtown from Friday evening to Sunday morning. We will be helping serve hot meals, listening to the personal stories from others, and lending a hand wherever it’s needed. It’s a great opportunity to see how we all can help out and promote better social services for all. We’ll catch you all on the flip side next week! Thank you!
